About our pressure vessel manufacturing
R&D Therm has been fabricating chemical process equipment since 1993, operating from a manufacturing facility in MIDC Satpur, Nashik. Mechanical design is carried out in-house to ASME Sec VIII Div 1 & 2, PED and IBR, with full 3D modelling, detail drawings and as-built documentation.

Pressure vessel fabrication capabilities
Fabrication runs across dedicated carbon steel and stainless steel bays, each served by 10 T, 3 T and 2 T cranes. The carbon steel bay handles pressure vessels, columns, reactors and complete process skids up to 100 tonnes shipping weight.
- CNC plate cutting — bed 2,500 × 12,000 mm, carbon steel to 40 mm, stainless steel to 32 mm
- Pipe cutting up to 8 inch
- Plate rolling to 2,500 mm width and 16 mm thickness
- Manual TIG / MIG welding, SAW column and boom, and 6-axis robotic welding
- Radial drilling and conventional lathe machining
- Qualified WPS / PQR covering GTAW, SMAW, SAW and FCAW

Testing, inspection and quality
Non-destructive testing is carried out in-house by Level II / III NDT engineers, and every job is mapped from receipt of order to dispatch with built-in inspection hold points.
