Types of Storage Tanks –
Designed for storage of liquids at near-atmospheric pressure.

Design Features –
All storage tanks are designed in strict accordance with internationally recognized standards such as API 650, IS 2062, and ASME Section VIII, as applicable. The design takes into account operating pressure, design temperature, stored media properties, corrosion allowance, as well as environmental factors like wind and seismic loads. This ensures structural integrity, operational safety, and full compliance with statutory and client-specific requirements.
Shell & Bottom Design:
The shell and bottom of the storage tank are engineered with optimized plate thickness based on hydrostatic head and service conditions. Shell courses are designed to withstand internal liquid pressure while maintaining stability under external loads. Bottom plates are provided with appropriate slope to facilitate complete drainage, and annular plates are incorporated for large-diameter tanks to enhance load distribution and foundation interface. All welding joints are designed and executed as per applicable codes to ensure long-term reliability.
Roof Design:
The roof structure is designed based on the type of service and operating conditions, with options including fixed cone roof, dome roof, or floating roof construction. Roof design considers live loads, maintenance loads, and environmental factors such as wind or snow where applicable. Adequate venting arrangements, including pressure-vacuum relief valves, are incorporated to prevent overpressure or vacuum conditions during operation.
Nozzles & Manholes:
Storage tanks are provided with appropriately sized and located nozzles for inlet, outlet, drain, overflow, venting, and instrumentation connections, ensuring smooth and safe operation. Manholes are strategically positioned to allow easy access for internal inspection, cleaning, and maintenance activities. All nozzles are reinforced as required by the design code to maintain shell integrity under operating and external loads.
